Another incredible waterfall in Miches that you must include in your itinerary is La Escondida. Located only 9km from Miches La Escondida is not a very popular tourist destination but worth visiting.
The waterfall is huge. La Escondida, is formed by a series of waterfalls rolling down the hills forming a big pool and fascinating cascades of water. You will walk along the falls and watch them from different angles to get there.
The place is surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation for the perfect picture if you don’t have people around. It is just an hour's walk to reach this fantastic 100 mt tall waterfall and the trail was just as beautiful, as we walked through the forest with stunning views over the mountains.
